从2007年开始，北京大学、韩国首尔大学和东京大学（叠贰厂贰罢翱）叁校每年联合举行一次青年学者（青年老师和研究生同学）哲学会议。该年会旨在推动和提高叁校青年学者之间的国际哲学对话。2012年，我们将在东京大学迎来第六届叠贰厂贰罢翱哲学会议。

会议要求所有参会的青年学者和研究生提交自己撰写的英文哲学论文，题目可以涉及任何哲学领域与哲学问题，要求立论清晰，论证严密，合乎学术规范。与会议具体论题相关的论文将获得优先考虑。另外，所有与西方和东方文化传统有关的哲学论文也属于优先考虑范围之列。论文长度约为标准页10-12页左右，以便论文可以在20分钟左右报告完成。

请有意参加的同学（以博士生为主），在10月5日前提交题目和摘要（均为英文、电子版），在2011年12月14日前提交文章全文（英文）至如下地址：

The 6th BESETO Conference of Philosophy
Emotion and Reason on Life and Death

January 7-8, 2012
The University of Tokyo (Hongo Campus), Tokyo


Peking University, Seoul National University and the University of Tokyo (BESETO) have organized a philosophical conference for young scholars every year since 2007. The annual meeting aims at promoting and improving philosophical dialogues in international contexts between colleagues and young scholars of three universities from Eeast-Asian perspectives. On January 7-8, 2012, we will have the 6th BESETO Conference of Philosophy in Hongo Campus of the University of Tokyo, Japan.

Essays dealing with the specific theme of the 6th conference (“Emotion and Reason on Life and Death”) will be given priority, but all philosophical essays dealing with Western or Asian tradition will be considered. English will be our only working language.

Those who hope to apply for a presentation at the conference are required to submit an abstract in Word-file by Wednesday, October 5, 2011 to a corresponding organizer of each university given at the bottom. Applications will be examined and selected in each university. Full papers in Word-file will be required to submit by Wednesday, December 14, 2011 to:
