从2007年开始，北京大学、韩国首尔大学和东京大学（叠贰厂贰罢翱）叁校每年联合举行一次青年学者（青年老师和研究生同学）哲学会议。该年会旨在推动和提高叁校青年学者之间的国际哲学对话。2011年，我们将在北京大学迎来第五届叠贰厂贰罢翱哲学年会。

与会议具体论题相关的论文将获得优先考虑。另外，所有与西方和东方文化传统有关的哲学论文也属于考虑范围之列。论文长度约为标准页10-12页左右，以便论文可以在20分钟之内报告完成。论文提纲也会为会议所考虑；但我们优先考虑完整论文。论文均可以用电子版或纸版的形式提交，尽管我们更欢迎电邮附件的形式。所有英文论文的最终提交截止期限为2010年12月15日。在本次会议中，英语将是唯一的工作语言。

5TH ANNUAL PHILOSOPHICAL MEETING
FOR YOUNG SCHOLARS OF
BESETO

RATIONALITY IN HUMAN LIFE

JANUARY 8-9, 2011
PEKING UNIVERSITY, BEIJING

Peking University, Seoul National University and the University of Tokyo (BESETO) organize a philosophical conference for young scholars (both young faculty members and graduate students) in each year from 2007. The annual meeting is aimed at promoting and improving an international philosophical dialogue between young scholars from the three universities. In 2011, we will have the 5th annual philosophical meeting of BESETO in Beijing, China.

Essays dealing with the specific theme of the 5th annual meeting will be given priority, but all philosophical essays dealing with western or Asian tradition will be considered. Essays should be approximately 10-12 standard pages long, so that they can be read in less than 20 minutes. Proposals will be considered for the conference, but strong preference will be given to complete papers. All submission may be presented in either electronic or paper format, though e-mail attachments are preferred. Only essays received by Wednesday, December 15, 2010 will be considered for this conference. English will be our only working language.
